About Me

Soon after immigrating to San Francisco from South Korea in 1974, our family (Dad, Mom, me, my two brothers, Joe and John) began to attend the Korean Full Gospel church in the city. It was a church planted by the Yoido Full Gospel Church in Seoul, Korea (pastored by David Young Ki Cho). That same year, I received Jesus as my Savior and also the baptism of the Holy Spirit. I was part of the Intervarsity Ministry throughout college. During the 1990’s I attended a non-denominational church in Oakland, California and served in the worship and prayer ministries. During the same decade, I had opportunity to explore the Holy Spirit gifts especially in the areas of the prophetic and healing prayer.

In 2003, I moved to another non-denominational fellowship called Blazing Fire Church in Dublin, California. 2000s was a decade of inner healing for me. The love of the Father God taught and demonstrated by the BF church leaders and members became instrumental in my healing journey. In 2005, I joined a house of prayer (East Bay Prayer Furnace) where I learned to lead devotional worship and study the Bridal Paradigm and the End Times teachings in the Bible.

2014-2023 was a challenging time due to my Dad and Mom’s passing (2017, 2018 respectively) and as was for many others, the COVID. Throughout, God showed his faithful love. In November 2023, I retired from my work as a clinical pharmacist. Ephesians 2:10 says “we are God’s masterpiece, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”   I believe that part of the good works God prepared for me is to use creative expressions to make known our Creator God’s goodness and loving character displayed through his son Jesus. God has also given me love for the nations especially those in the Middle East and for Israel.  My vision is to support God’s work of salvation and healing in the Muslim and Jewish peoples.
